Get conversations
Deprecated: use alpha.conversations.get.v4 (alpha_conversations_get_v4), which reads the conversation and never streams, lists the plan's versions without their bodies, and opens on a shorter first page; follow a running answer with alpha.turn-events.get.v1 (alpha_turn_events_get), whose last event carries what the answer became. Get one Alpha conversation the member may read: its newest page of messages (pass beforeMessageIndex from nextBeforeMessageIndex for older ones), how it is shared with them, and every version of its plan with its body. While its newest answer is still running, a call with Accept: text/event-stream (REST) or an MCP progress token follows that answer's events and ends with this result; with nothing running it returns at once. A reader following again passes the provisional text it already drew (resumeSegment, resumeOffset) and is not sent it again. An API key reads only the conversations it started. Answered in the values it was published with: a question's PowerPoint attachment is left out of its attachments and file parts, and an edit_file call reads as create_file, its label saying it edited. Media-edit evidence calls are omitted; their resulting artifacts stay visible.
