Rooster says which brain he came up on.
Frederick, 2026-08-05, looking at the System page: "It says [claude-sonnet] for reasoning. It should be using Kimi K3... and before that it might even have been on ChatGPT. So this is not even being updated."
He was right, and worse than stale: that panel read a hardcoded default while /api/health reported anthropic as a STUB, so it printed a model name for surfaces calling nothing, and Rooster's real brain appeared nowhere. This is the observed value -- written at boot by the process that resolved it, stamped with when -- so a panel can report what ran instead of what someone configured.
