NWS zone catalog

Return the NWS zone catalog (11,651+ zones total). Zones are the geographic unit of every NWS hazard alert: public forecast zones, county zones, fire weather zones, marine zones, coastal zones, offshore zones, land zones, and high-seas zones. Use the type and area filters to narrow the result (for example type=fire&area=CA for California fire weather zones). Updated semi-annually by NWS, cached 24 hours by Sugra. Attribution: NOAA National Weather Service (api.weather.gov).

Two-letter state or territory code (e.g. NY, CA, PR).

Marine region code (e.g. AL, AT, GL, GM, PA, PI).

limitinteger

Maximum number of zones per response.

cursorstring nullable

Opaque upstream pagination cursor.
