Water temperature observations at a CO-OPS station. Distinct endpoint rather than a subset of /meteorology because water temperature is an oceanographic variable used in marine biology, fisheries, and coastal thermal modeling - conceptually paired with water level. Default units metric (Celsius). Attribution: NOAA CO-OPS Tides and Currents (api.tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov).
