Power plants in a country by fuel source

Return OpenStreetMap power-plant elements (ways + relations) inside an ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country. Optional plant_source filters by the OSM plant:source tag. Optional min_output_mw filters client-side on the plant:output:electricity tag, parsing unit suffixes (MW, GW, kW, W). Data is (C) OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL 1.0) - attribution is required on any surface that renders this data.

Query parameters

countrystring required

ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code (e.g. US, GB, DE).

min_output_mwnumber

Minimum declared electrical output in megawatts (filters on plant:output:electricity).

plant_sourcestring nullable

Fuel or energy source. Accepted values: biomass, coal, diesel, gas, geothermal, hydro, nuclear, oil, solar, waste, wind.

limitinteger

Maximum number of elements to return before client-side filtering (1-2000).

Power plant elements with centroid coordinates, (C) OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL 1.0).
