Brazilian GDP - annual (6784) or quarterly (6612)

Convenience shortcut for Brazilian GDP. By default uses aggregate 6784 (Contas Nacionais Anuais, annual national GDP). Set quarter_year to switch to aggregate 6612 (quarterly national accounts). Variables pulled: nominal GDP in Milhoes de Reais, volume change percent, deflator. Source: Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatistica (IBGE).

Query parameters

yearstring nullable

Year filter YYYY (for annual GDP aggregate 6784).

quarter_yearstring nullable

Quarterly period YYYYQq (switches to quarterly aggregate 6612).

Response

GDP observations with valor in million BRL or percent, depending on variable.
