International demography: one country's series

Midyear population and vital rates from the Census Bureau's International Data Base (timeseries/idb/5year) for one GENC country, 1950 to 2100 by default. country is required. A to past 2100 is clamped with a note; a from past it is an empty answer. Early-year rates that the Bureau has not published are null, never filled in. An unknown two-letter code is an empty answer, not a 400.

Query parameters

countrystring required

Two-letter GENC country code (CN, US, JP, ...; required).

fromstring nullable

First year (YYYY, default 1950).

tostring nullable

Last year (YYYY, default 2100).

indicatorsstring nullable

Comma-separated aliases (default pop,tfr,cbr,cdr,gr,medage,e0,imr).
