Search the CMDA file registers

Search the CMDA (Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority) registers that the main CMDA records search does NOT cover. register picks the file series: "ordinary_building" (Channel A ordinary building approvals), "industries_institution" (Channel C industry and institution building approvals), "high_rise" (high rise / MSB building approvals), "non_high_rise" (non high rise building approvals), "layout" (CMDA layout and plot subdivision approvals with extent and public purpose plots), "registered_building" and "registered_layout" (the legacy RERA project register with the promoter, the approval reference and the completion status; this one is STATEWIDE, not Chennai only, so a RERA question is better served by the RERA project lookup, and read the address on any hit), "office_order" (CMDA administrative orders and circulars, e.g. the infrastructure development charge rate), "form_ii_notice" (Form II inspection notices served on a building). Pass query as free text: file number, PP number, approval number, applicant or promoter name, street, village or a phrase from the subject. Use for "was this high rise approved by CMDA", "CMDA ordinary building approvals in Anna Nagar", "any CMDA office order for this", "Form II inspection notice for this file", "who is the promoter of this registered layout". Chennai Metropolitan Area only: elsewhere in Tamil Nadu the DTCP / panchayat permits are the separate planning permission register. Planning permissions, violations, sealed buildings, developers, professionals, completion certificates and government orders are in the main CMDA records search instead. Costs 1 credit per call, waived when nothing is found.
