Get Public Profile

Tiered profile view — uses relationship_service as the SINGLE SOURCE of truth for relationship tier.

Return shape (for the frontend): { tier: 'self' | 'family' | 'friend' | 'circle' | 'follower' | 'stranger' | 'blocked' | 'private', id, first_name, last_name?, city?, bio?, profile_photo?, interests?, activity_count, verification_status, i_follow: bool, // viewer follows target they_follow: bool, // target follows viewer mutual: bool, // convenience: both directions is_friend: bool, // strictly the FRIEND tier (bilateral friend request) is_family: bool, is_circle_member: bool, has_pending_request: bool, // friend request pending from viewer → target hosted_activities?: [] }

Visibility policy (composed from tier + privacy settings):

  • SELF → 400 (use /profile)
  • BLOCKED → 404 "User not found" (never leak existence)
  • FAMILY → full profile, always
  • FRIEND → full profile, always
  • CIRCLE → full profile unless profile_visibility='private'
  • FOLLOWER → hosted activities + base unless private
  • STRANGER → if public: base only; if private: name+follow-button only
