run failover drill
Start a drill of the cold standby now. Manage scope. It backs up the primary, restores that copy over the standby, waits for the healthy redeploy the restore causes and records the verified copy with measured durations. The standby data is replaced; the primary is only read and no traffic moves. Read the drill until verified or failed. Hosted MCP requires an account credential without resource confinement. Available only when the failover_enabled feature gate is enabled. Resources must belong to the authenticated account; confined credentials are rejected. A disabled gate returns 404. Review validity, same-account pairing and current state are checked again by the server. Compatibility alias of /platform/deployments/custom/{id}/failover-standby/drills.
