Delete the data a restore set aside

Permanently removes the data.replaced-<timestamp> copy that a restore left behind, freeing that disk. Pass the RESTORE job's id.

Irreversible, and that copy is the way back from a restore the customer did not want — so it is a separate, explicit call rather than part of the restore.

The app is not restarted: only the set-aside copy is deleted, and the live data is not touched.
