Query parameters
Company name, or a French identifier (SIREN, SIRET, VAT) — spaced or labelled ("SIREN : 552 032 534") resolves directly. Unsupported characters are stripped, not rejected; 400 only if nothing searchable is left (1-100 chars once cleaned).
Response
Top 10 matches (identity, SIREN, NAF, city, status, score_confiance 0-1). total_results counts every match, not the 10 served (tronque beyond; note_troncature when a lower bound). Best confidence under 0.5: aucune_correspondance_fiable and a bilingual note_correspondance (closest guesses, not your company). An abandoned index stage falls back to the real-time registry (data_freshness); if that fails too, the partial answer says resultats_partiels and names the stage in etages_abandonnes (always present, [] = complete).
