Browsers and crawlers (incl. Google's favicon service) hit /favicon.ico directly when no recognised icon link is found. Redirect to the SVG so the site never shows a generic placeholder icon. (The HTML <link rel="icon"> tags already point modern browsers at /static/logo.svg.)
