Public read-only demo dashboard backed by MERIDIAN_DEMO_DB_URL.

Sets a short-lived cookie so subsequent API calls from this browser session are routed to the isolated demo DB and writes are blocked. Exempt from SITE_PASSWORD gate so the URL is always public.
