Generate Story

Kick off a new story — planner + characterizer run in the background.

Status state machine: pending → in_progress → reviewing → in_progress → completed

By default the job settles at 'reviewing' so the caller can edit the outline/cast via update_outline / update_characters and then call start_writing. Pass auto_approve=true to skip review and go straight to 'completed'.

Terminal statuses: completed, failed, cancelled. Use wait_for_status to block until one is reached instead of polling get_job_status manually.
