Delete Account

Delete an account everywhere it exists, streaming progress (SSE). Admin only.

Purges, in order: the signup-history record (written first so a crash cannot hand the email a second free grant), Stripe subscriptions, the upload-post profile, the user's assets and projects, their chats, the groups they solely own, the SQL user row, and finally the S3 objects and the Firebase account.

The Stripe customer is kept so invoices and tax records stay queryable — it is never reused anyway, since customers are resolved by metadata.firebaseUID and a re-registration gets a fresh uid.

Firebase deletion only happens in production. Staging points at the production Firebase project, so deleting there would destroy a real login; outside production the account is left alone and the reason is reported.

Request

  • Base URL
https://api.tellers.ai (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
  • Auth
    none declared

Headers

x-api-keystring nullable
authorizationstring nullable

Request body

emailstring required

Email of the account to delete

confirm_emailstring required

Must repeat email exactly (case-insensitive); the request is rejected otherwise. Deletion is irreversible.

dry_runboolean

Defaults to true: the request previews and deletes nothing. Send false to actually delete the account. Same default as DELETE /users/me, and the same done event either way — check its dry_run field to see which you got.

Response

Server-sent events. progress events report each stage as it happens; the final done event is the object below — a summary of what was deleted, or, on a dry run, a preview of what would be.
