Safety Stop
A safety, conduct or equipment-damage problem: the contractor is stopped now and sent home, and the review goes to William (floor), Mark (desk) or Frederick (Frederick's contractor rules, 2026-09-23). See corrective_action.stop_for_safety.
⛔GATED hr:contractors:write: stopping somebody is a manager's act, and the person who reports it is recorded as the one who took it.
SUPERSEDED: POST /{contractor_id}/clear_pause lifted a strike pause. There are no pauses any more; a stop is undone by /{id}/stop/reverse.
