Decumbiture (Critical Days) (臥病占星(醫療史))
DECUMBITURE and the doctrine of CRITICAL DAYS — the medical astrology of Hippocrates' crisis days as the seventeenth century systematized it (Nicholas Culpeper's Semeiotica Uranica, 1651) — served as the HISTORY OF MEDICINE it is, with the disclaimer as the payload's FIRST field by design: not medical advice, not diagnosis, not prognosis; illness belongs to physicians. The doctrine, double-sourced: from the Moon's place at the decumbiture moment (when the patient first lay down), the QUARTERS of the Moon's advance (90°, 180°, 270°, the return) are the CRISES — the turning points near days 7, 14, 21 and 27 — and the OCTILE midpoints the JUDICIAL times 'wherein a man may judge what the disease is', with an alteration discerned at every 45°. The engine computes the eight instants by root-finding on the house ephemeris's lunar longitude (the classical day-counts fall out of the real Moon on their own), and at each instant reports the Moon's classical aspects to Venus, Jupiter, Mars, Saturn and the Sun with the doctrine's benefic/malefic framing — reproduced AS HISTORY, never endorsed. The chronic-illness variant reckoned from the Sun is named, not computed. A window into how European physicians timed disease for two thousand years. Pure computation, no LLM.
