Pause a running task before its next call is dispatched

Stops further dialing BEFORE the next attempt; a call already in progress is not interrupted. No Idempotency-Key - repeating with the same revision is safe on its own.

Current task revision from GET /v1/tasks/{id}. On revision_conflict reload and review the new state before retrying. Reconciliation accepts omission; other task changes require the current revision.
