Thumbtack splits reading a thread from writing to it across two scopes, so a grant holding only the read scope ingests leads normally while every in-thread reply is rejected — a state nothing else reports. Reads the stored grant rather than calling Thumbtack: a refresh cannot widen the consented scope, so there is nothing to ask.
