The submit result (uploadId, submitted, allItemsSubmitted, remaining, inserted, emission, unit, items). emission (kgCO2e) differs by path: this synchronous submit counts every row it submitted, a record it found already stored included; a row-stored submit job's result counts only the emission rows it inserted, like inserted.
