Shadbala (六力)
Vedic Shadbala (六力 / षड्बल) — the six-fold planetary strength of Parashara's Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, the strength engine our jyotish/varga/ashtakavarga/panchanga suite was missing. For the seven classical grahas it computes all six balas in Virupas (1 Rupa = 60): STHANA (positional — exaltation, dignity across seven vargas, odd/even, kendra, decanate), DIG (directional, by angle), KALA (temporal — diurnal, paksha with the Moon doubled, tribhaga, weekday/hora lords, ayana), CHESHTA (motional, a synodic-phase method peaking at retrograde opposition), NAISARGIKA (the fixed brightness rank) and DRIK (Parashari aspect curve). Returns each planet's total Rupas vs the required minimum, strong/weak flag, Ishta/Kashta phala, the full strength ranking and a transparent 0–100 score. Constants & formulae locked by unit test and reproduced against the published PyJHora 'V.P. Jain' chart within a documented tolerance — Shadbala is the most software-divergent Jyotish computation, so we lock the math and name the divergences. The astronomy is grounded; the interpretation is symbolic.
