Panchang Calculator
The five limbs of the Hindu almanac for a date and a place — tithi, vara, nakshatra, yoga and karana — read at that place's own sunrise, which is the classical rule that decides which civil day a tithi names. Four of the five are intervals, and each of tithi, nakshatra, yoga and karana comes back with its exact start and end: as UTC instants to the second, and as local times that carry their own date and UTC offset. The date is part of the value because a limb routinely ends on the civil day after the one asked about. Also returns sunrise and sunset, and the lunar month in both the amanta and purnimanta reckonings.

Query parameters
The civil date, YYYY-MM-DD, between 1700 and 2200.
Town or city, with the region or country if the name is a common one. A panchang is a question about a place: sunrise in Chennai and sunrise in Chicago are roughly half a day apart. Not required if lat and lon are given.
Latitude in decimal degrees, −90 to 90. Must be given together with lon.
Longitude in decimal degrees, −180 to 180. Must be given together with lat.
IANA zone name, or a numeric UTC offset in hours. Omit it and the zone is resolved for the date at that place.
