Share Agent

Share an agent with another person by making them an administrator of the folder it lives in. Owners only. If the agent lives in a private Home folder, pass a shared folder to move it into (an existing one you administer, or a name to create); the person then owns the agent alongside you. Use this when someone wants to add a co-owner or co-manager, share an agent with a friend or colleague, or give another person full access to it.

Idempotent: repeating the same share changes nothing and answers 200. The person is added to the folder as an administrator (promoted if already a member). Everyone who administers that folder owns the agent, so moving it into a folder with other administrators gives them ownership too.

TOS-6036: what an agent carries from one person it serves to the next.

Owner-only, agent-level, stored at identity_config.config.learning_scope. Distinct from :class:UnreviewedInformationScope, which only widens READ access for auto-sent replies and says nothing about what a teach WRITE is scoped to.

  • private keeps every learned item partitioned to the person who said it (the pre-TOS-6036 behaviour).
  • discretion (default) shares items classified about_work with everyone the agent serves and keeps about_person items private.
  • open shares everything the agent learns with everyone it serves.
