Search news

Keyword search over the current 42-feed world-news corpus. All query terms must be present as whole words in the headline or description; wrap the query in double quotes for a literal phrase. This is a rolling window of what the feeds currently publish, not an archive, so a story that has aged out of every feed is gone. For company or ticker news use /api/v2/quotes/{symbol}/news, and for free-text search over the wider global press use /api/v1/gdelt/articles.

Query parameters

qstring required

Free-text search query. All terms must be present as whole words; double-quote the query for a literal phrase.

limitinteger

Maximum number of records to return.

offsetinteger

Number of matches to skip, for paging past the limit.
