Api Ai Config

Return AI capability info for the current user.

Used by the front-end to decide whether to show BYOK input, free-tier prompt, or server-proxy mode for the new /api/ai/ask endpoint.

Credits consumed this period. Currently always 0 (placeholder until monthly budget tracking is wired).

max(0, free_tier_credits - free_credits_used).

modelsobject required

Provider → model-id map for BYOK flows. Frontend renders these in the model selector.

Hard cap on question text length. Backend rejects above this.

True iff RAG retrieval is active. False would gate the citation UI.
