NOTE: the app's own gate docstring lists GET /teams among the public widget-runtime routes, but the route itself carries the webchat:read gate and a get_current_user dependency, and has done since it was written. The CODE is authoritative and is what this mirrors; the comment is stale. Flagged in the PR body rather than changed here.
