Update the operator-authored note attached to a deal.
Leads/deals split: this is the code path behind the validation contract's "Log-note on a PENDING lead survives promotion" — reuse the same leads-first gate /goal and /criteria use (this route had its own independent prospecting_deals-only fetch, which 404'd for a pending lead id before this fix).
