Wong Tai Sin Oracle (黃大仙靈籤) (黃大仙靈籤)

THE WONG TAI SIN ORACLE (黃大仙靈籤) — the hundred lots of Hong Kong's most famous temple: the kau chim oracle of Sik Sik Yuen, drawn by millions every Lunar New Year. Each lot carries a GRADE (上上 to 下下), a TITLE naming its exemplar story (lot 1: 姜公封相 — Jiang Ziya raised to chancellor at eighty, the patron tale of late success), a four-line seven-character VERSE, and the temple's own prose gloss (解曰). RECENSION DISCIPLINE: the corpus is THE TEMPLE'S OWN published canon, its verses independently confirmed CELL FOR CELL against a second full witness — 100/100 identical, zero diffs — while the popular print recension (with its 古人占驗 title layer) genuinely diverges: variant characters throughout and SIX lots graded differently (7, 14, 17, 39, 71, 86 — one using a 中下 class the canon does not have), carried on the rows and disclosed, never blended. THE FINGERPRINT CORRECTS THE INTERNET: the canon counts 上上 3 (only lots 1, 73, 91), 上吉 10, 中吉 29, 中平 40, 下下 18 — not the 12/30/37 figures commonly repeated online — asserted at load along with the 七言 law over all 400 lines. Draw randomly (crypto) or supply a temple-drawn number. Eastern becomes sixty-seven systems. Pure compute, no LLM.
