Shaobingge (The Shaobing Song) (燒餅歌)

The third text of China's classical prophecy trilogy — the 燒餅歌 attributed to Liu Bowen (劉伯溫), joining the 推背圖 and 馬前課 on the verbatim shelf: the famous dialogue in which 明太祖 covers a half-eaten shaobing with a bowl and the strategist names it unseen (半似日兮半似月,曾被金龍咬一缺), then unfolds the dynasties question by question — 只恐燕子飛來, 八千女鬼亂朝綱, 萬子萬孫層疊層, down to 手執鋼刀九十九,殺盡胡人方罷休 and the sealing couplet 千言萬語知虛實,留與蒼生作證盟. Served as 42 dialogue segments from the scan-backed 中國預言八種 recension (zh.wikisource witness) with the interlinear reign glosses (永樂 through 光緒) carried per segment, under FOUR machine-asserted corpus laws: byte-exact reconstruction (length + rolling checksum — one altered character refuses to boot), dialogue shape (no imperial question left unanswered), the nine Qing reign glosses in strict chronological order, and cross-recension famous-verse locks. The variant popular recension (~1,912 characters) is NAMED, never blended. A classical 讖緯 text served for literary and historical study — scholarship dates it to the Qing era despite the Ming framing, the glosses are the tradition's own historical readings, and the engine makes NO claim any line predicts modern events.
