Hormuz destination-side crude-import floor
Changed onA month-average lower bound on Strait of Hormuz vessel transits implied by recorded crude imports at destination. v1 uses Japan METI Preliminary Report on Petroleum Statistics and Eurostat nrg_ti_oilm extra-EU crude imports by partner. No AIS, no vessel tracking, no satellite. floor_transits_per_day is Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain only. gulf_origin_transits_per_day includes origins that can bypass the strait and is not a proved Hormuz bound. Importer observation months may differ; observation_months_mixed says so. coverage_share is null until China, India and Korea are in. meta.stale follows ingest liveness on retrieved_at.
