G.17 - Industrial Production and Capacity Utilization (headline)

Federal Reserve G.17 statistical release (monthly, mid-month). Headline industrial production indexes (total, manufacturing, mining, utilities) and capacity utilization (total industry and manufacturing). Market groups, durable/nondurable breakdowns, high-tech and full capacity indexes are out of scope. Data drawn live from FRED with 6-hour cache.

Query parameters

lookback_monthsinteger

Months of history to return (default 36, max 120).

include_discontinuedboolean

When true, include discontinued and superseded series in the response. Default false returns only release_status=active series.
