Signals

Create Tech Adoption signal

Reach companies the month they start using a tool you integrate with or complement — while the rollout budget is still open and the stack is still being decided.

Input: trackedTool (a vendorName) or trackedCategory (a category), both copied verbatim from GET /api/v1/signals/technographic-tools — at least one is required; a name outside that catalog finds nothing and is flagged in warnings. Narrow with companyEmployeeSizeRanges, companyIndustries, companyCountries (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2) and companyRegion. enablePersonaTargeting with targetPersonas finds the matching people at each company; getEmails then adds their email.

Output: company-level leads — company name, domain, LinkedIn URL, industry, size, country — plus the detected tool and the change date. Contacts are delivered only when persona lookup or enrichment is enabled.

Use cases:

  • Integration play — a company adopts a tool you plug into; pitch the connector while they are still wiring it up.
  • Complementary sell — a new CRM means new needs around it (enrichment, routing, analytics).
  • Displacement watch — pair with Tech Displacement to catch both sides of a migration.
