Envelope Scan By Code
The scan that actually reads the barcode.
Resolves the code against the order Marc pushed and prints THAT envelope, addressed from the recipient block that arrived with it.
⛔AN ORDER IN SHADOW STILL PRINTS, and this paragraph used to explain that with a safeguard that does not exist: "carrying a PARALLEL RUN - DO NOT MAIL band and no postage". There is no band anywhere in envelope.py -- an earlier version drew one and it was removed as invented rather than asked for -- and postage is decided by mail class, never by shadow. So a shadow scan produces an ordinary franked envelope, and the only thing keeping it out of the mail is the floor's own convention that test prints are not shipped. Frederick, 2026-09-08: "We'll test the printing, but we won't test the shipping ... we just won't ship those."
That was decided for the PARALLEL RUN, where Centric held the same order and a Roost print was a test print. Marc's cutover splits by routing instead, so whether an unmarked duplicate should still come off the press is a question for him, not an assumption for this docstring.
