One event, end to end

Free. The full history of a single event: its current state, every change in the order it happened, and every source behind it grouped by outlet. A report in another language was translated into English before it was read: its title is the translation, translated_from gives the original language (ISO 639-2) and original_title the headline as published; both are null for reports read as published. Answers "is this a new event or an update to an old one". occurred_at is when the event HAPPENED, and occurred_at_basis says whether that was stated in a report, absent from it, or never measured — three different things that a single null would hide. timeline_total is the number of recorded changes (the array is capped), and timeline_note says why an empty timeline is not an absence of knowledge. Plan-dependent: changes before the key owner's history window keep their time and axis but not their values. On a plan without the full event detail (Free), only the latest change keeps its value (never for withheld facts); with it, every change keeps its value unless its section is withheld. Without the sources no change keeps its sources, the source list keeps only each outlet's latest report and each fact loses the report it came from; the related events and the imaging recommendation are withheld unless the plan includes them — locked_by says why a value was withheld, sources_locked says when only the sources were, and plan_lock names what was withheld with section_plans naming the plan that opens each part. sequence (OFF-202): an event made of several separate incidents lists them in sequence.children (date, place, casualties, report count, severity band) and gives sequence.highest_severity_band — the band of the most severe incident, never a sum; an incident lists the event it belongs to in sequence.parents and the other incidents of that event in sequence.siblings; null when the event has neither. measured_same_place (OFF-217): a measurement recorded at the same place close in time — a heat source at the same facility, a transit change at the same strait, SO2 over the same volcano, a quake or cyclone at the same site — or, read from the measured event, the reports at its place. Stored by fixed rules (the same registry row and a window per kind, or the same volcano), never a confirmation: the same place is not the same cause. Every plan sees that a pair exists and its kind; the times, the gap and the place name need the full event detail (withheld: true otherwise); null when it could not be read.

Path parameters

eventIdstring uuid required

The event id (UUID). An id folded into another event resolves to that event, and merged_from_request says so.

Response

The canonical event, its timeline, and its sources.

canonical_eventobject
timelineobject[]
timeline_totalinteger
timeline_notestring
sourcesobject[]
measured_same_placeobject[] nullable

Measurements recorded at the same place (or, from a measured event, the reports there). Not a confirmation.
