Set the registrant contact fields on the account

Writes the ICANN registrant contact — the only external data requirement in the whole product line. Domain registries reject a registration outright when a contact field is blank, so POST /domains/register refuses with 422 INCOMPLETE_REGISTRANT_DATA before raising an invoice, and names the blank fields in details.missing_fields. Those names are exactly the keys this endpoint accepts: send them, then retry the registration.

Nothing else on the platform needs any of this. A customer who only buys VPS or hosting never has to fill it in, which is the point of an e-mail-less account — so do not collect these fields speculatively.

Only the allowlisted fields below are writable; anything else is rejected with 400 rather than silently ignored. Saving also propagates the contact to the registrar for domains the account already holds, because registries require it to stay accurate.

registrant_ready: true in the response means a domain order would now pass the gate.
