A2A protocol v1.0 — the JSON-RPC 2.0 binding (one endpoint, operation names as methods: SendMessage, GetTask, ListTasks). Send a message (a six-field manifest, or anything else) and receive a Task whose artifact is our receipt or our grounded reply; poll the task with GetTask because nothing is pushed. Streaming, push notifications, cancellation and the extended card are declared false in the Agent Card and answer with the protocol's own errors. Version: send A2A-Version (an empty header is treated as a 0.3 client). Reading requires the capability key you were issued — the id identifies, the key authorizes.
