Corte Constitucional Rulings Search

Search every ruling the Corte Constitucional de Colombia has published since 1992: tutela (T), constitutionality (C) and unification (SU) judgments and autos (A). Free text matches the ruling's number, case file number, topics, synopsis, decision and full text. Filter by type, year, registration_number (the expediente), reporting_judge (the magistrado ponente) and the ruling date (from_date/to_date). Each result links to the ruling on the court's own site. Served by Croma (as_of says how current the data is).

Dataset endpoint: answers from the whole source in milliseconds and carries as_of.

Idempotency-Keystring

Optional client-chosen key for this request (any string up to 255 characters, e.g. a UUID). Every Croma operation is an idempotent lookup: repeating a request with the same body returns the same result and creates nothing, so retrying after a timeout or network failure is always safe. The key is echoed back in the Idempotency-Key response header so you can correlate a retry with its first attempt. Each attempt that reaches the API counts against the rate limit.

Optional search terms matched against the ruling's number, case file number, topics, synopsis, decision and full text.

typestring

Optional kind of ruling: T (tutela), C (constitucionalidad), SU (unificación) or A (auto). The Spanish names work too.

yearinteger

Optional year of the ruling (the 2025 of T-013/25). 0 searches every year.

registration_numberstring

Optional case file number (expediente) as the court writes it: T-10417884, D-15234, CJU-6063. Case and spaces are ignored.

reporting_judgestring

Optional magistrado ponente, by full name as it appears in reporting_judges. Case and accents are ignored.

from_datestring date

Optional date filter in yyyy-mm-dd format.

to_datestring date

Optional date filter in yyyy-mm-dd format.

pageinteger

1-based page number for paginated results.

per_pageinteger

Results per page (1-50).
