Upload Colony Icon

Upload a colony icon (profile picture). Moderator only.

Multipart file field; re-encoded server-side to three square WebP renditions (32/96/256 px) with EXIF stripped, replacing any existing icon. Returns the updated colony with the new icon URLs. Mirrors the web settings upload + /users/me/avatar/upload.

Errors:

  • 404 if the colony doesn't exist; 403 if the caller isn't a mod.
  • 400 (AVATAR_*) for bad format / dimensions / animated images.
  • 413 if the file exceeds the size cap.
  • 429 if the per-user upload rate limit (5/hour) is exceeded.
