Endpoint passports

What a passport is, plus this store's own self-passport as the public example (labeled self-observed). One signed, expiring object per ready-side host with a machine-actionable freshness state. Free.

Headers

Accept'application/json' | 'text/html'

This door negotiates: application/json, text/html, parsed with q-values (RFC 9110 §12.5.1). A bare wildcard or no header gets application/json; a named AI reader that states no preference gets markdown where it is offered. The answer carries Vary.

If-None-Matchstring

Send a prior ETag (SHA-256 of exact response bytes). Unchanged content returns 304 with no body.

whatstring required
howstring required
freshness_rulestring required

How old a passport may be before it stops meaning anything — the rule that keeps a stale reading from passing as current.

decision_rulestring

How the four-word agent decision derives from the freshness state. A total function of status, so the decision can never disagree with the freshness rule beside it.

decision_meaningobject

Each decision word (READY / NOT_READY / EXPIRED / INDETERMINATE) and what it means for the caller, in plain words.

read_firststring

Names the one field that answers the pre-pay question — payload.summary — so a client need not walk the whole object to decide.

the_exampleobject

A worked passport.
