Unified Project Lifecycle APIs

Partially update project metadata of any type

Applies a JSON Merge Patch (RFC 7396) to project metadata through the store selected by the optional projectType hint, or the project's persisted type when omitted.

Features:

  • Supports Continuous Replication, Mainframe Replication, and Advanced Replication (DSL) projects.
  • Omitted fields are preserved; an explicit null removes the corresponding stored value.
  • Nested objects (emailSettings, deploySettings) are merged member-by-member, not replaced wholesale.

Use Cases:

  • Update a project's description without resending the full project payload.
  • Toggle email alerting or adjust deploy timeout defaults independently.

Authorization: Requires replication-pipeline::update when permission harmonization is enabled; otherwise, replication-pipeline::manage.
