⛔THE WINDOW IS ALWAYS HIS, NEVER A DEFAULT. Nobody has set a number of hours the board gets, and inventing one here would be a threshold built from nothing -- a guess wearing a measurement's clothes. A paper with no window never expires on its own; it waits until somebody answers it.
⛔AND EXPIRY IS NOT A REJECTION. When the window passes, the paper resolves expired: a fact about us having stopped waiting. It names no option and approves nothing.
