Fail-fast gates (Light tier, founding caps, the platform company cap), then the founding gate itself (spec 2026-10-01 HEAD_START): the v3 welcome grant, then standing to found (a Founder plan, a live trial or the free plan's one business, and FOUNDING_GATE_CREDITS), a 402 founding_gate otherwise (free_one_business for a free account's second). Every interview is then billable, which is what lets its first page start building at the BRAND write. No moderation call: moderation moved in-interview to the model's reject_founding tool, which also covers the mid-interview pivot an idea-only gate never saw.
