Oauth Register

RFC 7591 — Dynamic Client Registration.

A client that asks for token_endpoint_auth_method client_secret_post / client_secret_basic gets a client secret, once, in this response (lmcp-api#33). Any other value, or none, gets a public client exactly as before (the RFC's confidential default is NOT applied: a client that did not ask for a secret would then fail at the token endpoint).
