Forward a document

Forward a document to a new recipient. email or mobile is required.

By default the new recipient is added to the document as a CC recipient, and no signature rights move. To transfer the signature rights of a signer to the new recipient, set transfer to true and pass that signer's id as recipient_id. Rights cannot be transferred on a signed document or to a recipient who has already signed.

Id of the document.

Request body

first_namestring

First name of the new recipient.

last_namestring

Last name of the new recipient.

emailstring

Email of the new recipient.

mobilestring

Mobile number of the new recipient in international format.

transferboolean

Transfer the signature rights to the forwarded recipient. Requires recipient_id.

recipient_idstring

Id of an existing recipient of the document. With transfer true, this recipient must be a signer, and its signature rights move to the new recipient. Without transfer, the new CC recipient copies the eID verification and recipient settings of this recipient, and its SMS verification settings when mobile is sent. An id that matches no recipient of the document returns 400.

titlestring

Title of the new recipient, for example CEO or Sales manager.

company_namestring

Company name of the new recipient.

company_numberstring

Company number of the new recipient.

Response

The request succeeded. The response has no body.
