Spoken language of the meeting (any ISO code: 'en', 'ru', 'zh', ...). When set, speech recognition runs in that language's dedicated mode for better accuracy. Omit when participants may speak multiple languages — recognition then autodetects.

Silent translator: no voice into the room (subtitles + the public /live listeners keep full audio). Reversible live via the roster's mute-in-room toggle.

sentence_lengthstring

Translation buffering: how much speech is aggregated into a sentence before translating. 'short' = every STT final (lowest latency, choppy), 'medium' = sentence-aligned (balanced), 'long' = paragraph-ish (highest quality/latency).

tts_providerstring nullable

Translator VOICE provider (the TTS the translator speaks with). One of the translation-capable providers (cartesia, openai, deepgram, ...). Omit to use the workspace default translation voice.

tts_voicestring nullable

Specific voice id for tts_provider (e.g. 'nova' for openai, 'aura-2-asteria-en' for deepgram). Omit to use the provider's default voice.
