Greek Alphabet Oracle (希臘字母神諭)

The GREEK ALPHABET ORACLE (grammatomancy) — the ancient Hellenic lettered-lot sortilege that stood inscribed in the agoras of Roman-era Asia Minor, a new Greek tradition. Twenty-four oracular verses, ONE for each letter of the Ionic alphabet (Α alpha … Ω omega); on the surviving steles the FIRST WORD of every verse begins with that verse's own letter (an acrostic), so an enquirer who drew a lettered lot could read the god's answer at a glance, under an invocation of Apollo (the prophet) and Hermes (his messenger). Ask a yes/no question and the oracle draws a lot — either an EXPLICIT letter you supply (a Greek letter, a romanised name like 'alpha', or 1–24, for a live physical cast) or a deterministic seeded draw hashed from your question. Returns the drawn letter and its verse — the attested opening word (Greek + transliteration), a key-word, an ORIGINAL clean-room English paraphrase of the ancient line, its tone, any divinity invoked — plus a plain verdict and a symbolic 0–100 tone score. Attested from the steles at Olympos (Lycia) and Adada (Pisidia); editions Kaibel (1878) and Nollé (2007). The verse texts are ancient/public-domain but the English is our own paraphrase (the modern Opsopaus/Athanassakis translations are copyrighted and not reproduced); a few letters' tone is read differently across sources and marked 'conditional'; symbolic Hellenic heritage divination for reflection, not prediction and not medical, legal, or financial advice.
