Submit External Decision

Submit an external decision for a paused workflow.

Requires the sessions:external-decision scope (not included in default scopes — must be explicitly granted to the API key).

The session must be in 'awaiting_external' status. The decision controls how the workflow resumes:

  • "continue": resume executing the remaining steps
  • "fail": apply the gate step's on_fail action
  • "reject": immediately reject the session
