Jobs

Submit a batch of finetuning jobs

Train several models with one finetuning tool in a single request (the tools GET /tools and GET /tools/{name}/schema mark finetune: true). The body is /submit-batch's with ONE difference: the tool is named by model instead of type. Every other field /submit-batch accepts is accepted here with the same meaning, and auth, validation, spending checks and every response are /submit-batch's own — this route runs the same batch submit path.

settings[].parentModelId versions a model per row, as settings.parentModelId does on /finetune, for the same set of tools.

Submit batches of finetuning tools here rather than to /submit-batch, which may refuse them with 400 use_finetune_endpoint.

Request

  • Base URL: https://app.tamarind.bio
  • URL: https://app.tamarind.bio/api/finetune-batch
  • Auth: API key in header x-api-key

Request body

batchNameBatchName required(unresolved $ref)
modelstring required

The finetuning tool to run for every job in the batch — a tool listed with finetune: true. Exact and case-sensitive, like type on /submit-batch.

typestring

Do not send. Accepted only when it equals model; any other value is refused with type_model_mismatch.

settingsSettings required(unresolved $ref)
jobNamesJobNames (unresolved $ref)
projectTagstring

An organization project to tag the job(s) with — its project id, or its name. Applies to the whole batch on /submit-batch, and to every job a pipeline creates on /submit-pipeline. Usually optional. It is REQUIRED when your organization has turned on "require a project tag": those accounts get 400 on any submission that does not resolve to an ORGANIZATION project (a personal project does not satisfy the policy). That 400 body carries availableProjects — the projects you may use — so you can retry without looking them up elsewhere.

Response

A PLAIN TEXT body, <batchName> batch submitted to queue. — the sentence /submit-batch sends on success.
