Generic fielded search across arXiv preprints

Compose a boolean-AND search across any of the fielded parameters (general q, title, author, cat, and from_date/to_date submission window) and return matching papers from the arXiv.org (Cornell University) corpus. Pagination via limit (up to 2000) and offset. Sort by relevance (default), submittedDate, or lastUpdatedDate in ascending / descending order. Every paper is returned with identifiers, title, abstract, authors, categories, DOI and journal reference (when available), version number, and abstract/PDF URLs.

Query parameters

qstring nullable

Free-text query applied across all fields (maps to arXiv all:).

catstring nullable

Category filter (e.g. cs.AI, q-fin.ST, hep-th). Validated against the static arXiv taxonomy.

authorstring nullable

Author-name fragment (maps to arXiv au:). Surname-match tends to dominate upstream.

titlestring nullable

Title substring (maps to arXiv ti:).

from_datestring nullable

Earliest submission date (YYYY-MM-DD). Submitted-date range filter.

to_datestring nullable

Latest submission date (YYYY-MM-DD). Submitted-date range filter.

sort_bystring

Sort key (relevance, lastUpdatedDate, or submittedDate).

sort_orderstring

Sort direction (ascending or descending).

limitinteger

Papers per page (1 to 2000).

offsetinteger

Zero-based offset into the result set (0 to 10000).

Response

Matched papers on the current page with upstream total counts and Sugra-side pagination counters.
